Trials for Hope Blog

 Thank You to Clothing CLE and Kayla Frisco for allowing us at Trials for Hope to be honored with another year of; hoodies, hats and socks!!    We celebrate with Kayla and all of the team at Clothing CLE for helping our community get through this week with another layer of warmth!!! 

We need to take some time to celebrate the kindness of others who walk and walked with us today such as; Chris M, Marty and Sabrina, Jeanie and Chris, Riderz of the Reaper plus Rebecca, and Arron and Carmen.  We had a full night and the celebration is that together we shared serving another. It's not about the gesture or the work necessarily, as much as showing up for our family in need. We Thank Marty and Sabrina for the donations!! We continue to find more seniors whose insurance doesn't cover adult diapers, and if we ever would have an open food pantry this would be something offered to our young at heart who are in need.  Thank You Everyone!!     

In catching up with this week as we challenge the weather, we have many who challenge the weather a heck of a lot more! We celebrate this week and would like to back up to Saturday before the storm when we had; Janise and Chris help with shut in's and home bound! They sure made a difference before the storm hit us, as did the wagon from our Thatcher Grant! To carry so much is a blessing for each of our home bound and not always so easy...  We stress that what we endure is very little!! Our home bound and shut in do not have an easy day. Our home bound are survivors of the area that they live in and with bodies that don't want to listen to them! We wanted to mention these two, because they really went out of their way!! Since then ... John with Holy Angels and Michael came to help with camps for Tuesday, and we started early which helps for everyone to get home early... usually. John has been a trooper on Tuesday driving to the camps, and Riderz of the Reaper continue

In celebrating today we sure need to say a Thank You to Chris and today to Riderz of the Reaper, Rebecca, and Mike Rose's Mom in helping us to help others!  We still have family outside that need to know they're not alone, as winter is here and more is on the way. 

We'd like to share our gratitude to; Chris, John with Holy Angles and a new gentleman Arron who we met tonight doing something really good!!  More Thank you's to; Steve and Janis this week who also have been active in helping us!!!

We at Trials for Hope continue to be blessed by sharing our daily path with others to walk with us, as we try to help others whose basic needs continue to have challenges.  We celebrate many the past few days from; Sobriety In Motion, Cole and Griffin, Riderz of the Reaper, The Lantern Center, Holy Angels Church, City Mission, a great class from the P.E.P. program and from our team with; Jim, Nancy, Chris, Steve and Janis who just worked so hard! Thank you!!  We celebrate the Generosity from Onix Outreach!!  

God gives us some very special people who see the good,.. the bad... and the ugly and through this Onix Outreach continues to walk with us to support our outreach and share the path of service with us and many others.  Dianne Needles has walked with us for a few years from assisting with community meals to families in need of more.  To have people believe in what you do is a priceless experience, and Dianne who helps so many throughout Cleveland again blesses us! Thank You as we celebrate another day!! Our Thank you to Malachi House as we weekly appreciate walking with you in helping others together with what you might not need at the moment!!! Our Thank You's to John with Holy Angels Church who sure helps Tuesday's run smoother for us!! Also, we celebrate the Luke:311 Program tonight with Calvary UMC in visiting with our family outside to know that even a few do not spend one night alone in not knowing how valuable they are! Luke:311 Notes The trailer made its inaugural run on June 27 with representatives of the six partner churches; Lakewood Calvary, Church of the Saviour, Fields, Garfield Hts., Pearl Road and Pleasant Hills United Methodist Churches. During that evening 145 meals were handed out to residents at Lakeview Terrace ( low income housing facility ) and a nearby homeless encampment. We at Trials for Hope would like to offer our gratitude to many who walked with us this week as we've had some blessings from walking with; Alisha and her family in helping us with our community meal, along with Mary, Gunther, Nancy, Carol, Steve, Alice and others from the meal that helped with clean up!  This week we also need to so far Thank; Malachi House, Laura's House , Lisa D. and St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Jan with Aimsted UCC for donations.  In walking with us; John and his wife Eileen with Holy Angles Church, Jim, Steve, Janis, Nancy, A.J., Larry, Jammy, Rev.
